RERA makes it mandatory for all commercial and residential projects where land is over 500 square meters or eight apartments to register with the RERA for launching a project, in order to provide greater transparency in marketing and execution of project. As per this ACT 70 percent of money has to be deposited in bank account by real estate, builder will have to quote prices based on carpet area only.
